In what was likely his final game in a Penn State uniform, running back Saquon Barkley showed why he's projected to be a top-five pick in the upcoming NFL Draft.
Barkley ran for 137 yards and two touchdowns on just 18 carries, leading the Nittany Lions to a 35-28 win over Washington in the Fiesta Bowl.
It was all Penn State early on as Barkley ran for two touchdowns - including this impressive 92-yarder - on their way to a 28-7 lead.

The Nittany Lions were able to keep a sizable lead throughout the game, but Washington did cut the deficit to seven on this 69-yard touchdown run from Myles Gaskin. However, that was the last time their offense moved the ball.

That run was arguably the lone bright spot for Washington's offense, as they recorded just 307 total yards. Quarterback Jake Browning was limited to 151 passing yards and a single touchdown while the Huskies recorded just 35 rushing yards as a team outside of that run.
Quarterback Trace McSorley played extremely well for the Nittany Lions, throwing for 342 yards and two touchdowns while adding 60 yards on the ground. Wide receiver DaeSean Hamilton finished with five catches for 110 yards and two touchdowns.

Penn State finished the game with 547 total yards, setting a new school record for total offense in a bowl game.
They move to 11-2 on the season with the win, which is the most wins they've had since 2009. It also pushes the Big Ten to a perfect 6-0 in bowl games so far this postseason.
Washington falls to 10-3 with the loss, dropping the Pac-12 to 1-8 this bowl season.
