Three-star offensive tackle Alex Gellerstedt (Dublin, OH) committed to the Penn State Nittany Lions in May, and he confirmed on Thursday that he's on track to arrive at University Park in January.
"I am excited to have an opportunity to enroll early to start my academic career at Penn State and have a chance to work with coach Hand starting this winter," he said. "I look forward to working out with and competing with my future teammates."
The 6'7", 277-pounder will be joined by four-star Pennsylvania center Connor McGovern, quarterback Jake Zembiec, and tight end Danny Dalton in Happy Valley for the spring semester.
Gellerstedt is rated as the No. 72 offensive tackle nationally and the No. 34 prospect in Ohio.
