STOCKTON - It's been a challenging offseason for the Pacific softball team.
The weather hasn't exactly cooperated. The Tigers' final three fall practice games were rained out and they've had to find alternate sites for workouts and practices with the wet conditions. Coach Brian Kolze knows many other teams in Northern California have experienced similar setbacks, and the overall excitement that comes with the start of every new season has taken over.
Pacific opens Friday at the Easton Invitational in Fullerton with games against Utah State at 10:30 a.m. and host Cal State Fullerton at 4 p.
