Malibu, Calif. - The Pacific women's tennis team fell to No. 9 Pepperdine Saturday on the road, 4-0, in a West Coast Conference match.
Viktoriya Dzyuba fell to No. 2 Luisa Stefani, 6-1, 6-1, in first singles, just Dzyuba's second loss of the year. Stefani improves to 13-1 this season.
At sixth singles, Christine Maddox swept Katie Dyston 6-1, 6-1, and Matea Cutura won 6-0, 6-0 at fourth singles over Yuki Asami to clinch the match.
Pepperdine had won the doubles point as Cutura & Stefani topped Dzyuba and Anneroos Nederstigt, 6-3, at first position.
