Women's Hoops Fall To Gonzaga In WCC Quarters

LAS VEGAS, Nev. - GeAnna Luaulu-Summers scored 18 points for Pacific, while Jenelle Grant continued her breakout tournament, but top seeded Gonzaga's length was too much for the Pacific women's basketball team to handle, as the Tigers fell 91-59 Friday at the West Coast Conference Basketball Championship Quarterfinals

Grant finished with 11 points and nine rebounds, while Chelsea Lidy added 13 points for the Tigers. Grant averaged 12 points and eight rebounds in her freshman WCC Tournament.

Gonzaga opened the game 4-of-14 shooting, but finished 27-of-51 after the first quarter. The Bulldogs owned a 49-28 advantage in rebound, and 38-14 in points in the paint.
