STOCKTON — There was a feeling of uneasiness on the Gonzaga women's basketball team as it came into Spanos Center on Saturday.
Even though the Bulldogs are the top team in the West Coast Conference, they had just lost at USF on Thursday. That was their first WCC loss since Pacific beat them on Dec. 31. The Tigers give them trouble, so avenging their last two conference losses at an unfriendly venue had them on edge.
Gonzaga used that edge — and extended Pacific scoring droughts — to beat the Tigers 74-58 in their second meeting.
