STOCKTON, Calif. - The Pacific men's tennis team concluded day two of the Pacific Invitational with wins coming from Akram El Sallaly and Tadiwa Chinamo. The two Tigers will battle one another in the semifinal match on Sunday.
Doubles began day two with Chinamo and Nathan Hampton in the quarterfinals facing off against Mikus Losbergs and Kasparas Zemaitelis, the No. 1 seeds from Sacramento State. The Tiger tandem dropped their battle with the Hornets, 8-5 to fall out of the main draw.
In singles, Hampton competed in the third round of the consolation bracket but couldn't pull out the win over Louis Chabut, another Sacramento State Hornet and fell 6-4, 7-6(4).
