Palo Alto, Calif. – Pacific's program-record winning streak came to an end today with a 3-0 loss to the No. 18 Stanford Cardinal despite outshooting Stanford 11-10. Pacific's loss in their first America East Conference game of the year drops them to 9-4 overall and 0-1 in the conference. Stanford is now 3-0 in conference.
The shutout was the first time Pacific has been held without a goal since their season-ending tournament loss to Albany last November. Laura Pujade took the loss, her first since September 8, and falls to 9-4 on the season. The senior made three saves in her 60 minutes of work.
