MALIBU, Calif. – The University of the Pacific baseball team dropped game two of the series on Saturday afternoon, 6-3, to Pepperdine University.
The Tigers fall to 11-18 overall and 3-8 in conference play, while the Waves improve to 14-15 on the season and 6-5 in West Coast Conference action.
Pepperdine took a quick 2-0 lead in the opening inning, but the Orange and Black responded back in the top of the second to trail by one. With two outs, Lucas Halstead smashed one over the left field fence to bring the Tigers within one at 2-1.
