Honolulu, Hawai'i - The Pacific women's volleyball team was topped in four sets as the Tigers' upset bid of No. 8 UCLA fell short, 3-1, at the Hawaiian Airlines Wahine Volleyball Classic Thursday night, 22-25, 25-21, 25-18, 25-19.
Lexi Elman led Pacific with 15 kills while freshman Ashlyn Fleming had a breakout match with 11 kills against just one error for a .455 hitting percentage. Fleming also contributed four assisted blocks for 13 points, while Elman added 11 digs and three assisted blocks for a team-high 16.5 points. Andie Shelton doled out 40 assists for the Tigers.
