GILBERT, Ariz. - Kriekie van Wyk earned Third Team All-American distinction Tuesday afternoon announced by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association. This is van Wyk's second All-America honors this season after being named to the Synapse Sports Second Team on Monday.
This is also van Wyk's second consecutive year earning All-America honors after she was named to the NFHCA Second-Team and Synapse Sports Second-Team during 2016-17.
The junior has collected numerous awards for her 2017-18 performance being named to the NFHCA All-West Region First Team, was the America East Offensive Player of the Year, earned America East West Division All-Conference team honors, and was a two-time America East Offensive Player of the Week honoree this season.
