Former Pacific men’s water polo players Alex Obert and Ben Stevenson will compete for Team USA in the 2018 FINA World Cup in Berlin, Germany, United States head coach Dejan Udovicic announced last week.
The Americans open the event against Croatia at 8:15 a.m. PDT today. This is the first time that Pacific men’s water polo will have two players on the U.S. squad at the same time. The Americans play Serbia on Wednesday and South Africa on Thursday.
This is Obert’s second stint on the FINA world roster while Stevenson will be making his first appearance for Team USA.
