Townes, Lampkin coming through big time

STOCKTON - Forwards Anthony Townes and Jacob Lampkin have given the Pacific men's basketball team a lift in recent weeks.

In the Tigers last three games, the tandem has combined for 67 points and 51 rebounds and provided an inside presence that has taken some of the load off guards T.J. Wallace and Ray Bowles.

Townes and Lampkin will look for more when Pacific (5-7) hosts Pacific Union (5-2) at 2 p.m. today to finish nonconference play. The Tigers open their West Coast Conference schedule against Portland at 7 p.m. Thursday and then will welcome No. 7 Gonzaga at 5 p.
