Stockton, Calif. - Pacific field hockey enters the last week of the regular season looking for a second consecutive West Division championship as they head to Berkeley to play the California Golden Bears this Sunday at 1:00 pm. That game will be the last before the America East Tournament starts next week on Thursday in Stockton.
The Tigers won both their games this last week at home to set a new program record for wins in a season with 13. The previous record of 11 had been achieved twice: in 2004 and last year.
The week started with a 3-1 victory over Cal that saw Marguerite van Wyk score two more goals, giving her 17 on the season.
