Pacific women's basketball (5-1) won its fifth straight-game tonight over Seattle (0-9) behind yet another strong offensive performance.
The Tigers jumped out front early with 21 points at the end of one quarter and held a 40-23 lead heading into the break. A scrappy Seattle team came out of halftime and made it a game by shooting nearly 60% from the floor to put up 26 points at the end of three quarters to cut the lead to 11. Pacific bounced back in the fourth to win by double digits for the second-straight game.
It was also the second game in a row that the Tigers had five players score in double figures led by Valerie Higgins who had 19 points and 10 rebounds for her second-straight double-double and third of the season.
