Pacific baseball rolled to its fifth-straight win 13-6 over San Francisco in the series opener on Friday night at Klein Family Field behind another big offensive night.
The Tigers were dealt with a tough opposing starter in Riley Ornido who entered the game with a 0.96 ERA on the season but jumped on him early to overpower the Don ace and hand him his second-shortest start of the year. Offensively the Tigers pushed across 13 runs tying a season high. It was the third time in the last six games that Pacific has scored 13 runs.
Individually, Keaton Glover led the way with a four-RBI night, a new single-game best for the junior outfielder.
