Pacific baseball moved to 8-1 on the season in walk-off fashion on Friday night at Klein Family Field, 6-5.
Seattle tacked on five runs in the fifth inning to take a 5-0 lead, but the Tigers scored two runs in the seventh and eighth inning before junior infielder Carter Hayes hit a bases-loaded double in the bottom of the ninth inning to score junior catcher James Free and junior utility player Josh Winkler to walk the Tigers off as winners. Hayes was mobbed by his teammates at second base for his late-game heroics.
Senior left-handed pitcher Ricky Reynoso got the start for the Tigers and looked strong before the fifth inning.
