The Tiger offense stormed out of the gate in the first half, logging three shots in the first 20 minutes of play. In the 31st minute, Camden Riley finally broke through the stout Aztec defense and net his third goal of the season. The sophomore headed the ball from six yards out off a cross from captain Andres Ochoa, giving the Tigers a 1-0 lead.
Right before the end of the half the Tigers added another goal, this time from Julio Cervantes for his third score of the year off an assist from Anthony Orendain.
