STOCKTON, Calif. - The women's softball team will be treking down to Palo Alto, Calif. this week for a Wednesday night game against Stanford.
The Cardinal host the Orange and Black and Boyd and Jill Smith Family Stadium at 6:00 PM. This will be the 22nd consecutive meeting between Pacific (12-25) and Stanford (22-19).
Following a three-game series against BYU, the Orange and Black found consistency in the circle averaging just over four hits, five strikeouts, and three earned runs.
Aces Marissa Young and Hailey Reed contributed to the Tigers' success pitching two complete games, including a 2-0 shutout victory for Young, and striking out a total of 13 batters.
