LOWELL, Mass. - In an interdivisional matchup, the Pacific field hockey team snapped their losing streak as they defeated UMass Lowell, 5-2 Sunday morning. Kriekie van Wyk recorded a hat trick while Savannah Burns and Taylor Dempsey each added a goal for the victorious Tigers.
Rylee Comeau had the first shot of the match for Pacific that was just wide of the net after a beautiful pass from Kriekie van Wyk. Allie Konkol nearly put Pacific on the board but her shot in the first half also went just wide of the goal.
