Stockton, Calif. – One goal was all they needed Sunday afternoon as the Pacific men's soccer team topped the visiting Portland Pilots 1-0, handing the visitors their first conference loss of the year. The Tigers now sit at 12-3-1 overall, 4-1-1 in WCC play and the Pilots drop to 11-5-1, 5-1 in conference action.
"We know that they [Portland] are a really good team, and they've shown that all year. We knew we would have a very good game today and we really believe we have a team that can play with anybody," said head coach Ryan Jorden.
