University of the Pacific’s men’s soccer team will get to test its talent against the three-time defending champion Stanford Cardinal.
The Tigers visits Stanford at 7 p.m. Thursday at Laird Q. Cagan Stadium.
Stanford (3-0-3) entered the season as the number one team in the nation following three consecutive titles. It started the season with three ties in a row, and have now won three in a row. The Cardinal tied San Jose State in its first match of 2018, a team the Tigers (4-2-1)beat 3-0 on Sunday. Pacific has not allowed a goal in 237 minutes of game time.
