Stockton, Calif. – The Tigers cap off their five-game road trip on Friday with a showdown against the UC Davis Aggies. This past Sunday, the Tigers drew a tie with host Sacramento State, which brought them to 0-5-1 on the year.
In the double-overtime decision, midfielder Lily Higashino netted her first goal of the season off an assist from Mati Long. Goalie Lena Perry, the reigning HERO Sports' Hero of the Week, logged six saves on 22 total shots from the Hornets. After surrendering seven goals in the past two games against Boston College and Fresno State, the Tiger defense bounced back nicely against the Hornets; allowing just one goal in 110 minutes of play.
