Davis, Calif. - Pacific's Jose Chamba and Alex Giannini posted a pair of victories to take their doubles flight of the Aggie Invitational on Sunday.
Chamba and Giannini had to go through two tandems of the host Aggies, but beat both duos on their home court in Flight A, as the Tiger pairing downed Bryce McKelvie and James Wade, 8-7 (4) in the semifinals to advance. In the finals, Chamba and Giannini downed David Goulak and Tommy Lam 8-7 (5) for their second win in a tie-breaker.
"This was a great team experience to get a lot of matches under their belts to start the fall season," head coach Ryan Redondo said.
