Los Angeles, Calif. – The Pacific men's soccer team got back to their winning ways Friday night as they topped host Loyola Marymount 2-1 in overtime. The victory was Pacific's first WCC win of the season, propelling the Tigers to 9-3 overall, 1-1 in conference action while dropping the Lions to 6-7, 0-2 in WCC play.
Defensively the Tigers shut down the Lions in the first half and did not allow a shot in the first 30 minutes of play. On offense Pacific riffled off five shots in the first half, however were kept out of the net and we headed into the intermission in a scoreless tie.
