The Pacific men's soccer team opens the 2018 season on Saturday with its first on-field action of the 2018 season when the team takes on Westmont at 7:30.
The Tigers are coming off of a second-straight season in which the team ran to the second-round of the NCAA Tournament after the team put together a 13-4-2 season in 2018. Pacific, which is receiving votes in the first poll of 2018, returns 15 players including Tariq Branche, Anthony Orendain and Camden Riley, the top-three goal scorers and point earners from 2017.
Saturday's match against Westmont is the first of two exhibitions that the Tigers will play in and offers a chance for head coach Ryan Jorden and the rest of his staff to get a evaluate their team in a game situation.
