It doesn’t matter which Tiger you talk to. As the official start of the Pacific women’s soccer team’s 2018 season inches closer, the talk of the team is the new vibe on the pitch.
“It’s kind of like a new era for us,” said Kendall Bietsch, a senior midfielder/forward. “Getting a whole new vibe is really nice for us.”
The tone may sound strange for a team coming off a 5-13-2 season, including a 2-7 mark in West Coast Conference action. But dig a little deeper, and as Pacific readies for its Aug. 16 season opener, it starts to make sense.
