Stockton, Calif. - The Pacific Tigers took home eight awards from the America East Conference at today's annual field hockey awards banquet, matching their award output from last season. Kriekie van Wyk took home three awards and Savannah Burns took home two, while Alicia Muiños, Axelle Steffen, and Ash Rutherford all came away with one award.
After leading the conference in scoring and finishing the regular season fourth in the nation, van Wyk was named the conference's Offensive Player of the Year as well as a part of the All-Conference and All-Rookie teams.
