Tigers Tabbed to Finish Fourth in WCC Volleyball Preseason Poll

STOCKTON, Calif. – The Pacific women's volleyball team received its highest preseason ranking since joining the West Coast Conference (WCC) in 2013 as it was selected to finish fourth in the 2017 coaches poll, it was announced Thursday.

The Tigers garnered 50 points, trailing just BYU (81), San Diego (72) and Portland (58).

"We are in a very competitive Conference with a lot of talent and we are really looking forward to this season," stated head coach Greg Gibbons.

Despite graduating four-time All-WCC selection Lexi Elman, Pacific returns a bulk of its lineup from 2016, including five of six starters.
