On Tuesday night, the Tigers likely drifted into sleep envisioning repeat performances after sweeping Boise State in the opening round of the National Invitational Volleyball Championship tournament. Pacific hosts UC Irvine tonight at 7 p.m. after shutting down the Broncos 25-15, 25-21, 25-16.
“They played a complete match as a team,” Gibbons said. “You follow through with a game plan and it’s fun. You go to point out what they’re doing, but they already know.
