Stockton, Calif. - With the school year set to start up, Pacific's summerballing baseball players have returned to campus after a successful few months away. Pacific had 20 players playing across the nation in addition to recent draftee Gio Brusa's first pro ball exposure after signing with the San Francisco Giants.
Pacific's Brusa, who signed with the Giants after graduating last year, was assigned to the A-ball Salem-Keizer Volcanoes. Through his first 37 professional games, Brusa has hit .268/.315/.490. He has ten doubles and seven homers already. Brusa has scored 23 runs, put up 28 RBI, and drawn ten walks.
