LOGAN, Utah – The Tigers' women's volleyball team went 1-1 on the final day of the Utah State Tournament, defeating UC Santa Barbara on Saturday morning and falling to Montana State later in the afternoon.
Emily Baptista and Ashlyn Fleming were nothing short of outstanding in the Tigers four-set (25-23, 25-17, 19-25, 25-14) victory over UC Santa Barbara. Baptista hit a career-best .450 and a career-high 23 kills. Defensively, Baptista had four blocks and nine digs.
Fleming, for just the second time in her collegiate career, hit over .700 in a match. She hit .
