Stockton, Calif. - Pacific's men's tennis team announced the signing of Akram El Sallaly today, the 190th ranked International Tennis Federation junior player in the world. El Sallaly hails from Cairo, Egypt, where he graduated from the Nefertari American International School.
"I am very excited to join Pacific as a student-athlete to get a valuable degree while pursuing my tennis career," said El Sallaly. "I chose Pacific for its strong emphasis on players' development while offering a great student-centered learning environment. I also liked the team's spirit as they help push each other forward while keeping a family atmosphere.
