STOCKTON, Calif. - Goals by Alex Hussar and Bianca Lopez helped the Pacific women's soccer team shutout visiting Portland 2-0 on Sunday afternoon. The victory not only is the first West Coast Conference win this season for Pacific, but is also the first win over Portland in program history.
"This is a big win for the program in showing the change and the build. Beating Portland for the first time in program history is huge, especially a team that is built off of championships," said head coach Kerri Scroope. "It was a total team effort.
