STOCKTON, Calif. – Kriekie van Wyk helped the Pacific Tigers field hockey team to its first win of the season in a 3-0 shutout over Temple University on Sunday afternoon.

- The Tigers offense came out roaring hot taking a quick 1-0 lead in the first four minutes of the game. Van Wyk received a cross pass from Rylee Comeau and hit the back center of the net.
- At 11 minutes in, van Wyk increased the Pacific lead to 2-0 with a shot off the penalty corner, receiving the pass from Gaby de Kock and Nthabi Maine.
