Tigers Shut Out Mustangs, 4-0

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. – The University of the Pacific baseball team shut out the Cal Poly Mustangs on Friday night, 4-0.

The Tigers improve to 4-6 overall while the Mustangs fall to 3-6 on the season.

After three scoreless innings, the Tigers' let the bats fly, scoring four runs at the top of the fourth inning. James Free led off for the Orange and Black and singled to left field. He went on to steal second to put himself in scoring position. Ryan Schalch stepped up next and got walked to place runners on first and second.
