On one hand, the Pacific women’s soccer team’s defense has been solid through the first two games of the season. On the other, the Tigers’ offense has sputtered out of the gate.
For the second straight game to begin the season, Pacific lost 1-0. This time, it came on the road Sunday against Navy.
Pacific was outshot 6-1 in the first half, and fell behind in the 11th minute of play after Navy’s Eleanor Pratt scored from the penalty spot.
The Tigers (0-2) got six shots on goal in the second half, and four corner kicks.
