Pacific women's basketball (2-1) picked up a win in its opening game of the Tiger Turkey Tipoff 75-68 over North Dakota State (2-3).
Brooklyn McDavid led the way with her second-straight double-double; she had 23 points and 11 rebounds in the game and was one-point shy of tying a career high. Valerie Higgins and Ameela Li both finished in double figures with 12 and 10 points respectively. Pacific trailed for only two minutes and three seconds in the contest and never trailed by more than a point.
The Tigers started fast by shooting 43% from the field in the opening half thanks in big part to McDavid's six buckets in the opening 20 minutes; she went 4-6 in the first quarter.
