Pacific women's basketball (4-1) went on the road tonight and picked up a huge win over San Jose State (1-4) 91-67 at The Event Center thanks to a massive first half.
Pacific logged season highs in scoring with 91 points and first-half points with 54 while holding the Spartans to only 24 in the first half. Junior guard Jessica Blakeslee led the team with a career-high 21 points. She was one rebound short of her first double-double. Sophomore guard Valerie Higgins logged a double-double and scored in double figures for the fifth-straight game. The entire starting five of Blakeslee, Higgins, Ameela Li, Tylah King and Brooklyn McDavid finished in double figures.
