Pacific baseball rode a stellar start from junior right-handed pitcher Ryan Shreve to a 5-2 victory over Loyola Marymount on Sunday in the series finale.
Shreve carried a no-hit bid into the eighth inning and only allowed two hits in his first career complete game while striking out five Lions in the win. Just one of the two runs that scored in the game went down as earned against him. On the offensive side, Pacific senior shortstop Kevin Sandri had a great day going 4-5 at the plate with two RBIs. Freshman outfielder James Arakawa went 3-4 with two RBIs as well; he also had two runs scored.
