Pacific men's tennis reached the final of the Pacific Mountain Invitational this weekend with a win a 4-3 win over Lamar on Saturday but fell to Fresno State in the championship, 4-0. The weekend's tournament was shortened from three rounds to two and moved from the Eve Zimmerman Tennis Center to the West Lane In-Shape.
Pacific battled in a seven-hour match on Saturday with the Cardinals and pushed to a 4-3 victory. The Tigers and Lamar split in singles, 3-3. Freshman Philip Hjorth won at no. 2 singles, 6-4, 6-3 to move to 5-4 on the season in singles play.
