STOCKTON, Calif. - The Pacific men's soccer team has been ranked No. 23 in the country by the United Soccer Coaches (formally the NSCAA) poll, the organization announced today. It is the first time in program history Pacific has broken into the Top 25.

The ranking comes after a weekend in which the Tigers went 2-0 in the JMU Invitational to improve to 4-0 overall this season. Pacific opened up play shutting out Virginia Tech 1-0 before coming back from behind to defeat James Madison 2-1. At the end of last season, Pacific was ranked #27 by the coaches association after reaching the second round of the NCAA Tournament in just the third year since the program was reinstated prior to the 2014 season.
