STOCKTON. Calif. - The Pacific men's soccer team was ranked #19 in Soccer America's Preseason Top 25, the organization announced this week. Pacific is the highest-ranked West Coast Conference team in the Top 25, with Portland taking #23.
The Tigers are coming off a historic season in which they put together a 13-4-2 record as well as a the first NCAA Tournament berth in program history. The Tigers finished the 2016 season with a final ranking of #27 by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA). Last week the Tigers were picked to finish first in the WCC as voted on by the conference's ten head coaches.
