STOCKTON, Calif. - In a race for third place in WCC standings, the Tigers pulled off a 6-3 victory San Diego Sunday afternoon.
The Orange and Black used a four-run inning in the first and two extra runs in the fourth to withstand the Toreros and earn their fourth straight win.
Pacific completes a three-game sweep of the Toreros finishing the weekend with a record of 16-25 and 5-4 in conference. San Diego falls to 25-21 following the series and 4-5 in WCC play.
The Tigers got off to a hot start to open up the ball game.
