To ascend in the West Coast Conference standings, the Pacific women’s basketball team has to get past the sisters Hood.
Malina Hood (21 points, six rebounds per game) and her twin Maya Hood (15 points, nine rebounds) have terrorized the competition for the San Diego Toreros, and present a challenge to a modestly-sized Tigers squad.
Pacific, though, takes the confidence from a home WCC win over USF into their matchup at 4 p.m. today at Jenny Craig Pavilion in San Diego.
