San Diego, Calif. – The Pacific cross country team placed ninth at the WCC Championships in San Diego, California this morning, edging out Pepperdine in their first race in nearly two weeks. For the second race in a row freshman Jasmine Gonzales led the way for the Tigers with a time of 23:14 which was enough for a 43rd place finish out of 82 competitors.
Shortly following Gonzales was fellow freshman Emily Wylie who posted a time of 23:21.2. Next across the finish line was Madison Cote (24:13.
