San Diego, Calif. – The Tiger cross country team placed fifth at the WCC Preview hosted by the University of San Diego. The Orange and Black were led by freshmen Emily Wylie and Jasmine Gonzales, who crossed the finish line in tandem with a time of 23:46, which was good enough for 25th and 26th place finishes out of 65 competitors.
Following Wylie and Gonzales was fellow freshman Emma Winkler, who traversed the 6K Mission Bay course in 24:45. Shortly following Winkler was Madison Cote with a time of 25:01 and rounding out the Tiger crew was sophomore Haley Silva, who posted a time of 27:24.
