LAS VEGAS, Nev. – The 2018-19 West Coast Conference men's basketball preseason coaches poll and All-WCC preseason team was announced Thursday, October 18 in conjunction with the WCC Basketball Tip-Off event, located at The Orleans in Las Vegas.
Gonzaga was selected to snag the program's seventh-consecutive Conference title after receiving nine first-place votes and garnering 81 total points. After both earning bids into last season's NIT, Saint Mary's edged BYU for second in the poll with 68 points. The Cougars claimed 67 points, while also receiving one first-place vote.
2017-18 CIT participant, San Francisco, was selected to finish fourth with 57 points, while San Diego was fifth with 52 points.
