Tigers Open Up WCC Play Against Gonzaga and Portland

STOCKTON, Calif.- The Pacific women's soccer team opens up West Coast Conference play this weekend and host Gonzaga this Friday at 7 PM before welcoming Portland to Knoles Field on Sunday at 1 PM. Admission to both of these contests are free to the public, and the first 110 fans in attendance on Friday will receive a free vuvuzela to cheer their Tigers on.

In their lone match last week, the Tigers blanked visiting Cal State Bakersfield 2-0 to improve to 3-6-2 on the season. Katelyn Chandler netted her first collegiate goal and added her first career assist on a goal from Taylor Ayers in the win, and goalie Henriikka Mäkelä recorded four saves in her first career shutout victory between the posts.
