STOCKTON, Calif. - Pacific field hockey begins their season with two home matches against the Michigan State Spartans and the #5 Syracuse Orange, the number three ranked team in the nation. The Tigers take on the Spartans on Friday, August 25 at 12 p.m. and the Orange come to Stockton on Sunday, August 27, also a 12 p.m. start.
Last season, the Spartans finished 8-12 overall and seventh in the Big Ten standings after facing nine ranked opponents in their 18-game schedule. The Tigers have faced MSU four times since 2010 standing with a 2-2 record with both wins occurring at the Spartans home turf in East Lansing.
